Being the New Englander that I am, these boots fit my life style well. From yard work and errands in messy MA mud and slush, to walks at the beach and on trails, I wear these classic boots well. They are comfy and well made...Great choice

I have wanted a practical, fun/hip, purposeful pair of wellies...regardless of price...for ages and have FINALLY found them with these LL Bean's wellies...and what a steal are these as usual for Bean matching unsurpassable quality for the price and way beyond...in front of me for how many years...
Anyway my taste is simple (solid green in this case), streamline and high quality so these are a definite fit for me.
Regarding fit, for these specific wellies, order down; I am a true 81/2 but size 8 is perfect. Allowing a comfortable amount of room with a good 'ole crew sock on your foot.
Plus, the slide tabs on the sides of the boot allow you to adjust the wellies for a tighter or looser fit around the calf. I just tuck my old, faded blue jeans into the boots -- grab an oversized white shirt and go!
The product is extremely durable but has the same flexible,comfortable, fluid feel as your old and favorite jeans. Also, the height is great hitting a little below the knee; I did not want a pair the height of my riding boots, for example and to give you an idea.
Understood, too, the company which stands behing their products for a lifetime. However, I plan to be buried in my pair...treat yourself, have fun in the muck, and try not to sleep wearing them.
