After doing extensive online research on the quality of different brands of Wellies out there, I purchased these Wellies in the Signature Plaid last year. They are comfortable fashionable and waterproof. Most importantly, they are of excellent quality. If you read reviews of other brands out there under $100 you will find that most of them will tear where the sole meets the shaft. So $60-$70 for a pair of boots that will be thrown out. NOT WITH THESE!! and not with the awsome L.L. Bean guarantee that has kept me as a loyal customer! Well worth the money.
I absolutely love these rubber boots!!! Not only do they protect your feet and are very comfortable, but you can "dress them up or down". They can be a very hip/groovy accent to your outfit or classic and conservative. HIGHLY FUNCTIONAL !!
I will admit as an avid Bean shopper...I did feel a little silly paying this much for a pair of Wellies! They are super cute, but most of all made with outstanding quality. I walk my dog in them a few times a day, rain, snow, ice ect...and I washed them finally the other day and they look brand new. The design of the doggies hasn't even scracthed or worn off. These are an amazing pair of rain boots and they are my choice of footware when I am rushing out the door. they are so worth the price...maybe bring out a few more dog breeds, many have asked if they have others besides the springer!
