Not only were these boots practical, they were cute & started a fashion trend at the equine center where my daughter works!! (the boots were for her). She has gone through 3 pairs of cheap ones- these are built well & looks like they will hold up to every day use!
The product is typical LLBean quality- excellent. However, I did have a problem with the order (definately unusual for me- I've never had a problem in the past). The problem was that the item pictured was not what was sent- The Wellies that I ordered were green with geese on them- what was sent was a solid green boot. The woman I spoke with about this told me that I had ordered the solid green boot- but did readily investigate and could see that the mdse. shown was in fact the one with the birds. She was very pleasant and did say that the picture was incorrect. (I see it has since been changed) She apologized and said I could return the item. The item was a gift for my daughter- and she said she would keep them- but I know she would have liked the other ones so much more!
These boots are adorable (I really love my springer spaniel) and functional. They have kept me dry while walking my dog even on the rainiest days. My calves are larger than normal, I guess, because the tops of the boots are a bit snug on my leg, tough to tuck in my pant legs. The boots are great.
I love these Wellies. They fit perfectly and are totally waterproof. They are the best boot for hurricane season and for walking the dogs in/after the rain. Traction is good and that is important to me. Thank you L.L. Bean for great rain gear!
