My new Wellies just arrived and I love them. Very comfortable and true to size. I wear an 8 shoe and the 8 boot was perfect. My previous Wellingtons were 20 years old. They had Thinsulate lining. I wish that were available again, so I could wear the boot year around. How about it LLBean. Wellingtons with a thinsulate lining.
I'm so pleased with these boots! They are definitely passing the test of time as have all of my LLBean footwear that I have purchased over the years. Summer rains are nonexistent here in California and having purchased these in early summer, how can I make such a claim. Gardening! If you love gardening you'll love these boots. No more wet feet. Walks in and around plants and bushes etc, a pleasure. Great protection and great style. Style in the garden? Why not! With these boots doing so well in the garden, a walk in the rain will put me on easy street.

I'm usually an 8- 8.5 in my shoes so I ordered up (9) which ended up being too big unless if I planned on wearing the boots with a liner or really thick socks. I'm going to exchange them for an 8 since I'm going to be wearing them in warmer weather. The whole boot is very large and more than enough room to tuck your pants into. I don't exactly have super skinny calves so I don't know why some reviews say that they run small because I found them to be really large. They also happen to be quite comfortable. I'm sure that once I get the right size I'll be wearing them all of the time!
