I have these in the classic green, and they are great in the garden or around town on a rainy Oregon day. Very comfortable, sturdy and well made. Great purchase!
These boots are like investing in good tires for your car. You want to make certain that you don't purchase cheap tires because cheap tires could cause accidents...you don't want to purchase cheap boots because they will let you down when you need them most. These boots are great for slipping on just after a rain in the spring and puddle jumping with my son! Plus...they are cute!! LL Bean has always provided good value for the money and they haven't failed in this product!!
I was so disappointed to have to return these! They're so cute, and they fit well everywhere except the calf. My calf would fit in the boot, but there was no extra room for me to tuck in pants too, and I really wanted to tuck in my pants. I don't have skinny calves, but they don't seem to me to be overly large.
I love them!! They are comfortable easy to slide on and off and of course fun and stylish for boots!! The only thing that I was disappointed in was the fact that on the website they looked as though they had a shiny finish but in fact it is not that way, they are well dull or low lustre. That is my only complaint, perhaps they are this way as to not crack over the years. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs to keep their feet dry in the wet weather.
