ProsDurable, Performing as Expected
These boots run large, but then I have a very narrow, thin foot and always have to have insoles and extra padding. That said, they work well and are quite comfortable.

Best boots in this price range

ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I looked at several pairs of rain boots and these LL Bean boots are the best product by far in this price range. They are even better than some more expensive boots.

wellie boots

ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable
at last a wellie coming in a width b which is what i take due to having wide feet and these are so soft and move with you better. love them. the only thing wrong i ever have is with your jeans! always loved them and still getting them despite the continued problems now ongoing for the past 4-6 years.

My first Wellies
PostedMarch 1, 2012
ProsDurable, Performing as Expected
Four stars only because I've never had wellies before and have nothing to compare these to, and because I've only worn them once so far.
The boots look good and fit me well. I chose to order my regular size 10, and I can confirm that with thick socks the boots would be too tight. But for where I live (Alabama) rubber boots will be quite warm enough with regular socks.
In the future I will prefer to wear the boots with something covering my leg all the way over the top of the boot, if I can get some that are not too thick. Rubber, even lined, and even for people who are not allergic, can cause a reaction for many people if worn for an extended period of time. I think after eight hours that was beginning to happen to me; not sure.
So think about the sock factor before you purchase.
