I love the color, pattern and feel off the fabric. However this "traditional fit" is definitely cut for someone overweight. The waist has too much fabric and the shirt puffs out in the lower back. I'll be trying a similar shirt but in the "Slightly fitted" category.
Shoulders are now narrower than they used to be but the sleeves are the same length - net result is that the sleeves are too short. I am 16 1/2 x 35 shirt size and a Medium Tall has always fit me perfectly. Just received 2 of these and they are now tight across the shoulders and the sleeves sit too high. And of course now the Deep Port Windowpane is sold out.
I got this shirt in the butter color for my dad this past Father's Day. He loves it! With it's comfort, amazing quality, and versatility, he wears it so much that my mom has told me to get him other colors in the future.
This is a soft and comfy shirt. I do iron but we are OCD with wrinkles. I would not iron for casual wear but feel it needs ironing for my husbands office environment. With wrinkle resistant it takes just a couple minutes to iron and much easier than other shirts. LL Bean shirts size large or 16x15 fit my 5'1" 185lbs to 190lbs husband well.
