I am disappointed to see, after just the first washing, the shirt does not have LLB's usually great "wrinkle resistance." It looks as if it has been worn and washed two dozen times. Not at all like some shirts bought in previous years.
This is the 5th of this type of shirt I have bought from LL Bean, all in the last few years. It wears well, is comfortable, goes with a lot of things I wear and is well-constructed. I will continue to keep buying these shirts, as well as many other products from LL Bean.
This was sold out in the size I wanted and I was checking out the listing daily. I am so glad I finally was able to get one. I ordered Marine, it's stunning. The cut is generous, my husband wears size L 16 1/2, XL t shirts, and he rolls sleeves up, I got L for him, it fits him perfect, but he doesn't like slim fitting shirts. If you are between sizes and prefer modern fit, you can easily go a size down without being afraid that sleeves or shirt will be too short, sleeves are long and roomy, and shirt is long as well. For us it's true to size. The pattern is very handsome. It's very well made. It looks expensive. I ordered a second color, and looking forward to ordering third one.
