I am very biased in favor of LLBean wrinkle-free shirts. I bought this one in three colors. My confidence was justified. It's the kind of shirt I look forward to wearing. Texture, neatness, sleeve-length, neck-size, any feature you want to look at is excellent on this shirt. Also, they wash like a dream. My wife touches up with an iron, but I don't see it as necessary and sometimes sneak them right from the dryer.
I bought this shirt for the upcoming fall weather. It is a bit lighter weight than I thought it was going to be, but it should work well with another layer late into the season. My wife loves it on me, so that is always a good sign. The Burgundy color one at least is also kind of shiny...not sure how else to describe it other than it seems to reflect light a little bit. Kind of reminds me of rayon, but it is by no means distracting or detracting.
My husband wears these shirts as often as he can, to work with chinos and a blazer, on weekends with his jeans. He loves the deep, rich plaids and the general look and comfort. They don't wrinkle, which is very important since he often has to leave the office and cover a conference midday. Wish they came in more dark colors. I wouldn't have to stop him from trying to wear them twice a week.
