I purchased this bed for my 11-year-old arthritic Lab, after trying numerous other beds from other vendors. I placed the bed in front of our sliding patio door so she has a good view of the outdoors, and from the day it arrived, she spends most of her days lounging on it. The foam insert cushions her from the floor and the bolsters make her feel secure. A little pricey, but well worth the money for my dog's comfort. This is definitely the best (and doggie preferred) dog bed I have ever purchased!
The Wicked Good dog bed is such a handsome bed. Carmine ignored it the first two days but now loves it. It's beautifully and thoughtfully made, sturdy and cozy. We've had it about 10 days now, and as I write, Carmine is in a circle in his bed. He has a bed in the kitchen, but this one is in the living room so that I can see him in it when I'm at my pc or watching TV.
I have three dogs, two fairly large and one smaller beagle. This bed is too small for the larger dogs and too high off he ground for the beagle. It looks in the picture to be fairly flat but it isn't. The materials and quality look good but not the design.
