I have two labs with poor genes and at one year old they both have a bit of arthritis caused by elbow dysplasia. My husband and I bought the Foam lounge so they wouldn't both try to sleep on our bed and it worked, at least with one of the pups... She is 58 lbs and could easily fit on the bed with her 58 lbs sister. She goes right to the bed now whenever we're in the bedroom and rests her head on the bolster looking comfy as can be. I think it's a great purchase and the material is fantastic because it can just be vacuumed or wiped clean with a towel. I am considering getting one for the living room too!
I am ordering a second bed--'nuff said! My dogs weigh 16 pounds and just fit perfectly in the small bed so if your dogs are any bigger, better get the large size. The cushioning and support and overall quality of the bed are superior to what I expected.
Cats are comfort seeking creatures. This CAT bed was out of the box less than 10 minutes before my boy began checking it out. A few minutes later he was kneading the inner cushion to make it super-ultra-comfy.
And now he's asleep in it, all curled up, all snuggled into this CAT bed that is truly fit for the Royal Feline that he is...
Ok, I guess if you have a small dog, it'll be great for them too, but cat-fanciers, don't be ashamed, just tell your feline it's really a CAT bed, no matter what LL Bean calls it...
Note: this bed is rated 5 SNORES by the fur-kid who is using it, but he decided he'd rather sleep in it than write a review...
