My dog is 12 and I thought she might like a more comfy bed. Well, from the first day we brought it home she has hardly left it! I'm probably going to get her a second one to have upstairs as well at night. Very glad I bought this and am feeling slightly guilty that I could have made her this comfortable years ago, had I known how much she would love this bed.
The dogs absolutely love this bed. From the first minute, they have been taking turns in it. The area between the bumpers is a little too small for both of them (medium size dogs ~50 lbs. each) to share it simultaneously. Previous reviewers were right about paying attention to the dimensions so I already expected this. The couch is quite substantial and heavy - make sure you have room for it. If you do, your dogs may just turn into couch potato pooches, too!
I had been eyeing this bed for a while, but the price seemed rather steep for a dog bed. I bought it last year when it went on sale because I wanted my 12 year old dog to have more support than ordinary beds provide. He loves it so much that the only time he leaves it is to eat, go for a walk, or cuddle. And, when he vacates this bed, his 2 year old "brother" hops right in. The cover is completely washable, which is very nice. I am very pleased with it and the dogs are too!
I bought this pet couch when on sale last year & my 30 lb dog has slept in it every night since. When he is outside during the day, one of my cats sleeps in it. It is easy to clean, looks nice & doesn't take up too much room. I debated about buying it, but am so glad I did -- it is worth every penny.
