Bought this as a second bed for my poodle/terrier to use in my home office (instead of laying behind my chair!). He loves it and often find him in it even after I've left the office. He is definitely comfortable as evidenced by the funky upside down sleeping positions he gets in. Loves to watch me by putting his chin on the edge - not something he could do with the basket bed he usually has. Highly recommend, but if your dog is bigger than 10-15 lbs. the small would be TOO small.
