I am so glad I got this "dog" bed. I actually bought it for my 11 year old cat who is quite slim and petite. I thought she would feel good in it. She just loves it!!! The padding is fantastic. She just cuddles in and appears to be very content. My only problem is my other cat thinks it is his also and he's always hopping in it whether it's being used or not. Guess I'll just have to get another. Tried lots of other cat beds but they just do not measure up to this one. While initially I thought the price was a little much, I've come to realize what a bargain it really is. This bed is absolutely perfect in all ways! Thanks, L.L.Bean
My little Daushound, "Millie" just loves her new bed. She's pretty picky. I wasn't sure she would take to it, but now she sleeps in it all the time. I bought it to use at camp so she would have a warm place to sleep. Works great.
We have an 8 year old female Jack Russell that we rescued and want to help her feel secure and loved. This bed is perfect to meet these needs. It's sturdy, yet soft and cozy and she loves curling up in it. It goes w/ her on all her travels and fits perfectly in the car and at home on the couch beside us.
the bed arrived within a few days of ordering and proved to far exceed my expectations. I have 4 dogs, one of which is an aging 13 1/2 year old Amstaf with advanced arthritis, so I needed to privide her with a comfortable bed. While the bed was intended for my older dog one of my Jack Russell's took an immediate shine to the bed and refused to move once settled. Then, to my surprise, she insisted on me letting her into the family room the day after the bed arrived so she could get back on the bed!! (A true story.) She proceeded to dominate the center of the bed for the next few days until I had to take a hard line and insisit she shared with the others. Now all the pups sleep on the bed together, a real site to see, soooo I think I have to purchase another. Thank you LL Bean for making such a great bed. We all love it
