My LLBEAN shirts that have the starch-like no iron treatment all start "pitting" at the fold on the collar and sleeves. For some reason they develop holes there. It takes maybe 100 washings to start. My part poly shirts seem to last forever and also are no iron. I think I prefer those. I don't think the starch treatment is any better than poly.
I've bought about 8 of the LLBean wrinkle resistant shirts and they are wrinkle free as described. I never iron them. However I have had 2 of them where the fabric separated creating a small tear like hole. The fabric had not been stressed or snagged. I'm going to keep ordering them because I really like the no iron feature.
I purchased the wrinkle resistant shirts because of the quality and quick processing of the LLBean shirts. They are ready to wear as soon as you take them out of the dryer.
