This shirt is perfect for layering. I coach hockey and I'm in the rink 3-4 days a week. I wear it for practices and when I'm on the bench for games. The shirt tail is a little longer which is nice, I've never had it come untucked. In addition to being warm it also seems to "breath" a little better than most cotton blends. It's a heavyweight fabric, but it doesn't feel bulky, comfortable enough to wear under a dress/casual button down shirt.
The fit and finish of this shirt is top notch. It is an awesome shirt and I would have bought several colors if my size wasn't sold out. This is an outstanding product.
When the weather turns cold in New England and the days are short, this double layer shirt with wool is perfect. The shirt is warm and the sleeves are just the right length . I usually don't want to take this shirt off at the end of the day.
