Over the years I have used the two-layer River Driver shirt. The quality was consistent. But I found the new crew neck to be cut larger then in the past. Even after washing the sizing seems to be larger than previously.
Got the River Driver Shirt for my son and husband the quality is outstanding and is very warm somedays the shirt alone is enough, if the weather is real cold just add a light jacket. Everybody is HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!
I purchased one of these shirts for my husband last year and he wears it when working outside and in the barn in the colder weather. This shirt is for my father for working in his workshop in colder weather. Great worn with a flannel shirt and down vest.
Sorry to say this isn't quality that LL Bean usually sends out. We washed it just like directions explained, and the bottom of it gathered and looked like a ruffle around the bottom. Something more like a girl would wear. We sent it back right away.
