I bought one of these shirts last season and I liked it a lot, so I called up and verified that it was available and ordered one. I also went to the local LL Bean store and bought two more. When I tried them on, I realized that the shirt was about 4 inches longer than the one I bought the year before. In fact, it is as long as a mini skirt. I don't know if this will cause me any discomfort but I wish the length was the same as the first one I bought.

Just slipped it on the first time to fetch the newspaper at the end of the driveway on a frosty morn. Just the right amount of warmth without the bulk. I accidentally washed it hot. It shrank just enough to take up the slack without destroying the fit. I wear it around the drafty house to keep the chill off. Just what the warmth doctor prescribed.
After looking at this item for quite awhile, I finally took the plunge. Glad I did. These shirts are very comfortable and warm and work well for layering. I am 5'11" and about 170. I wear a 15 1/2 x 35 dress shirt. I normally wear a large t-shirt and got the large in this shirt. It is very roomy and loose, which is fine, but the medium tall would probably fit a little better. The only negative comment I could make would be about the oddly shaped ribbed cuffs. I turn them up and they work fine, but a more conventionally formed cuff would be an improvement. Overall, I am very happy with these shirts...
