ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, great value long-term
This is a good shirt: it is better, warmer, than a sweatshirt and not as bulky. It is not designed for high performance activities because it doesn't "wick," but it does what it is supposed to do, keep an ordinary person warm. You can wear it as a separate shirt, or underneath another article of clothing. I wear it a lot under a wool shirt (when it is pretty cold) or under a flannel shirt in the Fall. These things wear forever if you take care of them - my sons have worn them for many years without problem.
The title of my review says it all. I picked one of these up last year and instantly fell in love with it. The shirt is decievingly warm, but it breathes very well and does not cause itching.
I was on a fishing trip early this spring and this shirt was a lifesaver. We got unexpected snowstorms several days and had frequently cold temps. The only long sleeve shirt I had was this shirt and I was never cold. This is a great fall, winter and early spring shirt. Get them while they last, this one's a winner. I ordered my 2nd this year, this is one of Bean's best ever.
