I haven't bought my husband these shirts in over 7 years as they last forever. The old ones are still in perfect condition, only stained. I asked him this a.m. what he thought of the new one and he replied that they are thinner than the ones we bought years ago. The shirt has not been washed yet, so I will have to wait and see if that changes the feel. Still a good shirt, just feels thinner than previous years.
My son has been wearing these as his only long sleeved shirts for four winters. Although the original ones are still in great shape, I bought him two new ones so that he has six in the various colors. He says they are very soft, comfortable, and warm.
My husband has worn these shirts for over 30 years. I inherite his old ones! Exceptional quality, very warm and cozy, durable. Well worth the cost as it will last forever.
