The bag was adorable but small. May be okay for a 4-7 year old, but labeling 7-10 not true. Since our grandson is just turning 7 the bag will work for a year or so....unless he does not grow much!!!
Love this bag so much that we purchased the second bag for our granddaughter this year. Pink butterfly endured 2 gruelling years from 1st thru 2nd grade and was still rolling along. But, the blue bag with Panda (which we all love dearly) was her pick for this year'r birthday present. She also spotted my Panda lunch bag that I use when I work at the Zoo. It is now tucked inside the pack as a surprise. Guess I'll be ordering a new lunch pack. ;-)
The Critter Backpack is by far, the BEST, most durable, cute, TOUGH and LASTING backpack I have ever bought. Forget the rest. This is a keeper. Spend the extra on this one becuase you won't have to buy another for a long time. The wheels are the cool skateboard whells that light up, rubber bottom prevents the bottom of the bag from tearing like those cheap ones always do. Great zippers, kids cannot ruin! Looks like brand new after a year of wear and tear.I love it and so do the kids.
I bought this for our six year old grandson. His brother has one from last year and it is just perfect for all the school supplies and many library books (they are both avid readers). Best of all the weight is on the wheels and not on growing children.
