I was sitting at a gate, waiting to board my flight, when two kids strolled by with the Critter Bag. I loved it right away...to the point that I followed them to hopefully find out who made it! I was so very pleased to see that it was LLBean as that spells quality to me! I just purchased my 7th one for a grandbaby due in February. My Grandkids love their new luggage!
I ordered the butterfly critter pack despite the reviews because my daughter fell in love with it. Well, she used it for TWO days and the wheel fell off. She is only in first grade and is not a rough kid. Customer service is sending a new one, but I have to reorder it, ship this one back, and wait for a refund. They say they will cover the shipping for the new one and for the return. I'll keep you posted. I hope the new one will last, but I'm not counting on it.
Our son is frequently in the hospital and this knapsack has worked out perfectly for those emergency trips to the ER that result in a multi-day stay. It easily holds a change of clothes for child & parent, medical info, toiletries, books, & video games. The side pockets are large enough for a can of energy drink or bottle of water. It stashes neatly near the front door or buy a hospital bed. The handle tucks away so the knapsack can be carried rather than rolled.
