I bought this lunch box for a family member in high school and the design was so great! Everyone gets a kick out the animal print and how different it looks from other lunch boxes we have here in California. It keeps everything cold and holds a lot of good eats!! No matter what age you are it truly is a very cool lunch box.
I purchased one of these (blue gecko) 6 years ago when my son was born and have been using it daily/weekly ever since...from baby food to my now-six-year-old's school lunches...we have taken it hiking, to the beach, on vacation, and just out and about for day trips. It keeps lunches and snacks hot or cold for hours. And the best thing - despite considerable use, it still looks practically brand new, with no rips/tears/abrasion and only a few mild stains on the outside from all the traveling. It is easy to clean, both inside and outside, and dries quickly (I clean it weekly). I'm sure we'll be using this for quite a few more years. Or maybe I'll order the racoon lunchbox to match his school backpack :-) On a separate note, I am a long-time fan of LL Bean - quality products at reasonable prices, and they stand behind them. In all the years I've shopped there (30), I've only had problems with two products, and they were both immediately and cheerfully replaced. I still have a Book Pack backpack I purchased in 1980 for college - it's still intact, while many others have come and gone. Dated, but still serviceable. Can't beat that! Thanks LL Bean!
