This will be my son's third critter lunch box, and he's seven years old. We still have his first one! They are totally kid-proof. I honestly don't bother with the plastic lunchboxes that have movie theme characters, as my son much prefers animals. We plan on doing the 'critter' thing until he's too 'old' for them. He also has the back-packs.
What a disappointment I bought this lunch box for myself not my child. I can't say enough of what went wrong. I'm so sorry it didn't work out. I'm back to brown bagging it till I find something more substantial. Not worth the price. SO Sorry I would have returned it but it's in pretty bad shape. From odors to sticky stains that won't wipe out.
This is our third critter lunch box and they are awesome! They're easy to wipe out and I have even washed ours multiple times on gentle in the washing machine-just hang try and it is like new!
