My 8 year old son is very tough on his things, this is his second Critter Lunch Box, the frist just ended up smelling bad, no matter how much I cleaned it and then the strap broke, but I still loved it enough to replace it with the same one! LL Bean Lunch Boxes last longer than any other I have tried ( a year and a half) and I like the way they look. Still the best quality out there.
This is our second critter box - they are the best lunchboxes I have found. They hold up terrifically and keep food temperatures right for hours in a locker. Our first is still so nice we have passed it down to our second child and our third child is now old enough to need one, too.
My 4 yr old has this and it is a great size for large drinks, cold packs and food, too. I like the carry handles and how deep it is! It washes well and has stood up really well! Had to buy it for my kindergartener, too!
