Check out the dimensions before you buy it, it is huge! I bought one of the other ll bean lunch boxes last year that has the handle at the top and they aren't quite as deep and things don't move around as much. The lining and quality is excellent on both kinds of lunchboxes and the lining won't crack like all previous ones I've bought over the years at different stores.
love this lunch box. my son is in kindergarten and this lunch box holds his lunch and his snack for snack time. I usually put in a sandwich or thermos, 2 juice boxes, apple, chips and cookies. there is also a outside zipper pocket for special surprise snacks! oh ya, and my son loves it too!
I love the size of this lunch box! I pack snacks, lunch in reuseable containers that take up space and with this I can fit it all. Plus they really hold up, one son used his for three years and would still be using it if milk hadn't spilt in it a number of times. I replaced it with another critter lunch box.
