This is an adorable lunchbox. Perfect for my niece to bring her lunch to daycare. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the lightness of the monogram color. I wish it was a smidge darker. My sister didn't even realize the lunchbox had been monogrammed.
My son loved his shark critter lunch box, because it matched his bookbag, and it was easy to find on the lunch shelf in his classroom. I loved it because it was roomy enough for lunch and an afternoon snack, and keeps his food cold all day. The icepacks are usually still cold when he gets home late in the afternoon.
I have bought these lunch boxes for several years now and they are great. Last year I purchased one lunch box for one of my children from a different company and it did not hold up nearly as well as the two LL bean ones I purchased from my other children last year. The designs this year however so far have not been too appealing to my older daughter who is almost 10.
This is a nice lunch box for every day use. The outside is easy to wipe off and if it get really dirty you can throw it in the diswasher (just take it out before the dry cycle). The inside is white and holds a small thermos and still has room for a sandwich and a snack. The zipper is great. No problems with it catching or breaking during daily use for an entire school year. My only complaint is the seams on the inside. They hold crumbs and make it harder to wipe out. If this lunchbox was seam free on the inside, I would rate it 5 stars.
