I bought this lunch box for my 10-month old because she loves Yo Baby yogurt, cheese sticks, soft fruit chunks, and leftover roasted vegetables - all of which are perishable. When we travel to Grandma's or shopping, I can bring whatever she needs for the day (and something for me, too) along in this lunchbox. I put a small ice pack in the interior mesh pocket to keep things chilled. Everything stays cool and protected and I don't have to stress about packing only non-perishables or buying food while we're out.
I purchased this lunch box years ago, mine was orange with a daisy. I used it on a daily basis for four years until it started to smell so much that I needed to throw it away. I would love to purchase this lunch box again but unfortunately, I don't think that a young professional like myself can get away with carrying around the spider or raccoon. I wish that LLBean would offer some of these without the animal designs because none of the other lunch boxes compare in size and functionality!
My 1st grade daughter loves this lunch box. It looks great and is practical. This lunch box is big enouph to fit a good size lunch, but is not bulky, and fits nicely in her back back. It is easy to wipe clean. The quality is great and we love the beautiful butterfly on it.
We are so pleased with this item. It is durable, the colour (red/shark) is beautiful and the styling is perfect. Fits everything my five-year-old son needs for a day at school... lots of space for several drink boxes, sandwich container, fruit and snacks. Nicely holds a good-sized ice pack in the mesh pouch on the bottom of the lid. Wipes clean easily and so far, no leaks!
