I gave this item to my grandson for his 2nd birthday . Since it had to be mailed to him I asked his parents to put some matchbox cars and snack bars inside for him.He loves to carry it with him wherever he goes.
I love this lunch box. It is larger than the one we had been using for my son, who is in kindergarten. We also used it on a road trip over the weekend and I was able to fit 4 sandwiches in it (stacked on top of each other) as well as small snacks. The sandwiches were not piled high with condiments, but it would have fit two piled high easily, plus the snacks. I bought the black with the spider on it and had it monogrammed. It looks great and my son loves carrying it to school.
