Good quality item. We use it daily to take my daughters food to school. Liner wipes up great and zipper is of good quality. Only draw back is the outside pocket is a bit small. Will hold spoon etc. but not snacks. When you have items inside the lid and in the outside pocket not much fits. Would like to see it fit a snack bag of crackers or chips(with out smashing snacks). Cute designs! Wish their were more options to choose from. It would be nice if the childs name could be put on the bag vs just their initials.
In addition to being a fabulous lunchbox, these make a great toiletry bag for traveling. I use one and it works great, leakproof, a couple of pockets and cute.
My daughter is into her 2nd year of carrying this lunch box, and it is holding up fantastic. One school year, we we through 5 lunch boxes because they either fell apart, or leaked. The L L Bean lunch box has held up amazingly. My 7 year old picked out the pink butterfly one before school started last year and it still looked great at the end of the year. THIS year, she brought it home absolutely grimey - I asked her if they has been eating lunch outside because it was so dirty. I tried scrubbing it with a brush and cleaner, and it wasn't helping. I read some reviews where others had put the lunch boxes in the washer. I sprayed some stain remover on the lunch box and worked it in and let it sit for a while - then hesitantly put it in the washer on the gentle cycle. It held up perfectly through the wash cycle, and came out as clean as the day we got it - and I mean this pink lunch box was filthy. (I don't know WHAT that child had been doing to that lunch box.) I am so impressed with the quality of this lunch box!!
