I have two boy ages 11 & 8, to say the least they are hard on their lunch boxes. I have been very pleased with critter lunch box; it's big enough to pack a well balanced lunch, yet small enough to fit in their backpacks! I think my two boys have met their match when it comes to the critter lunch box.
this was for my 2-year-old daughter to take to preschool. she also has the small llbean backpack and it fits inside there. we love this lunch box because it is just the right size and super washable!!
I have bought two critter lunch boxes for my daughter. She loved picking them out each time. It holds enough food for her snack and lunch. I recommend turning it inside out for cleaning and to get the crumbs out of the seams and for easier wipe down. Do not immerse in water. Liquids (such as water or spilled milk) can get between the layers of material and will cause the to box to smell bad.
I will definitly purchase another for my other daughter in a few months when she starts taking her lunch to school.
