We bought these towels for our guests. Both our guests and we loved them so much we bought more in solid colors for our own bathrooms even though they were not the best colors for our decor. These towels are thick, dense, soft and absorbent.
I now have 2 sets of these towels - the newer ones with the tan & orange stripes and the older ones with the blue & yellow stripes. The bath sheets in particular are HUGE (welcome for tall people), very thick, with rich-looking, lively colors. We esp love that they do NOT have one of those flat woven strips across each end, but are nice and soft all the way to the ends (really, don't those decorative strips just feel hard and scratchy?). But these towels are beautiful enough without any further decoration, and they dry you off nicely, too.
Wow! This towel was even better than I anticipated. Pastels are not usually my thing but these towels are gorgeous. They are thick and luscious and well constructed (I am especially picky about the binding!). I actually ordered the bath sheets to cover the blah ole beige seats in my sedan. When I got the shipment, I thought the towels were too nice for that purpose, but I tried it out. Now they are in the car because they make me smile: The striped towels are pretty but don't scream "female." As for practicality, they are ready for any emergency. When it's cold, they are big enough and warm enough to use as blankets. If I get caught in a rainstorm, they're ready for the job. Your towels are great and I'm worth it!
