The towels are soft and absorbent. I had one set and debated about ordering another because after several washings in cold water and drying on delicate as per the care label, the decorative band near the ends of the towels began to shrink causing the towels ruffle and not lie flat. I've always been pleased with Bean quality and thought the shrinkage must be a fluke. I've had the second set several months and the band on these towels are also beginning to shrink and ruffle.
I bought the bluestone. Bath and hand towels hold up well. Very nice towels. The washcloths split along the decorative strip within 3 months. I returned them and ordered a new set. Same result. Very disappointing. I give up. I now use them for grease rags.
These towels are very thin and do not feel soft. I'll stay with "ultra-absorbent" towels. "sea grass" is a very unattractive green color (I won't say what the color reminds me of)!
