I ordered a set of these towels with washcloths for my daughter and she was very pleased with them. The cotton is lush and absorbent. Don't forget to get them monogrammed! (Wish there were some more interesting and contemporary colors, though.)
I bought these towels 2 summers ago and I love them. They are big, heavy weight and very absorbent. They do have a few pulls, but not very many. I think they're holding up well. The colors have stayed true. And they look so summery -- remind me of my childhood at the shore in N.J. They're a bit pricy, but worth it. Thanks LL Bean.
I just received my towels in the mail and the first thing I did was look at the embroidery. I called them as soon as I placed my order to be sure they spelled my name correctly AND with all lowercase letters (as I spell it) and they did not fail me! They were done beautifully and when I washed them, they fluffed up and became even more soft! The only complaint I have is with myself...I like to have very large towels and I thought the size was the same as other towels I have, but they are a little bit shorter (40x62 vs. the 40x70 I have)...but that's my fault for not remembering the size.
I love these towels! They are the best combination of price, absorbency and durability. I have had them about 18 months and they seem new, but are perfectly broken in. A set I've had for 6 months, from a famous dept. store, are already unraveling and looking old.
