I cannot wear any shoes with thick linings. These are perfect. Just enough cushion, no bunching under my toes. Just scuff a little, like most new shoes, to take care of slipping. I ordered my first pair in January and have worn them every day, they show very little wear, but I ordered a second in May, just to have in reserve. I am ordering another extra pair, just in case they stop selling them. I wear them inside and out, on the grass, the driveway, on a path in the woods. Almost barefoot, but my feet are protected. I figure three pair should last forever. Order a half size down.
Though I loved the construction of these slippers, I literally slipped when I put them on! I was on carpeting and discovered that the bottoms are smooth leather. This is not good for walking around as they were very slippery!
I have a pair of leather with leather bottom slippers I got in 1986... I still wear them daily and one tow just started to wear through. I called in and was asked if I wanted to exchange them or my money back! I am extremely satisfied and want them even with the hole. 30 years of daily wear inside. The bomb!
Just received these. They fit perfect. I take a 9/12 shoe and a 10 sneaker. I was undecided whether to get a 9 or 10. Based on other reviews I sized down and got a 9. So comfortable! I was a little concerned about the smooth bottom, but no sliding at all! After always buying Dept store slippers that at the end of the season were falling apart, I decided to invest in these. They are so well made, I am sure I will have them for along time!
