These are the best slippers I've ever had. I first bought the leather lined version, ordering up to a size 9 for my usually size 8.5 feet (I wear them barefoot). They broke in in a few days, softening up nicely but never getting sloppy. The next year I got the shearling lined ones for cold mornings, and they are terrific. I hope you never stop carrying these!
I REALLY wanted to keep these slippers. I love the leather, especially the double sole. I read the insert in the package that said to give them some break-in time to size themselves to your feet, especially around the toes. I wore them for a few hours and they did start to give at the toes but I was getting cuts on the sides of my feet by the ankles. They were just too tight, narrow-- I ended up returning them. I wanted to order another pair--perhaps in a men's size to see if I could get them bigger, but I just didn't know what size to order and didn't want to go through having to return another pair. Too bad, too, because I had a $10 off coupon--which I had used in the initial purchase--and I lost the benefit of that coupon.
Priced very steep for the level of comfort, very stiff, I ended up returning them to LL bean store, Would be better if lined with something soft. My kids got the Wicked Good slippers for x-mas for alot less money and were 100 times more comfortable
Perfect! The double sole gives a feeling of walking on padded feet. I no longer feel the cold from the tiled floors and my feet are toasty warm, even without socks. Yes, the laces do come undone - once in the last week; this does not detract from the quality and comfort.
