These beautiful moccasins are amazingly comfortable. I wasn't sure which size to order because I wear a 6.5. I'm glad I listened to other reviewers suggestions and ordered a half size down (size 6). They feel wonderful and soft when I walk on my hard cold floor. I love these things!
I ordered these a few weeks ago and I have been wearing them ever since. I got the leather-lined version. The sole is padded and is comfortable out of the box. The bottoms are slippery at first but after a day or so of wearing them on my wood floors they were worn in enough to have a little grip and not slide as much. I have spilled water on them a few times and worn them while standing on a wet floor and there has been no damage to the leather at all. Even though the "double sole" seems very thick and durable I don't think I would wear them outside unless it's to get the mail/paper or something of that nature. I usually wear a 7.5 to an 8 and I ordered the 8 because I like to wear thick wool socks with them and the 8 is perfect.
The slippers look nice. But the fit was a bit too large. I could live with this. However, the soles were very smooth and lacked traction and this became a problem for me; I had to return them.
