I love these slippers. They feel sooo good on my feet. True comfort. They're also beautiful and I can't stop staring at my feet. Gorgeous! I wear a 9 1/2 shoe and the ten fits great w socks. The soles were very slippery at first, but I took the dogs outside for three minutes and now they're fine. I don't want to take them off and I find myself trying to think of places I can get away with wearing them. OMG!
You know the saying "cold hands, warm heart?" I had always wished there were a similar phrase to apologize for my cold feet. Growing up it was funny to have "refrigerators for toes" in the summer, but come winter it loses its humor. Now, I am lounging at home with HOT feet. Me, the freak with icebergs in summer is enjoying normalcy even in the cold months thanks to LLBean's superior slippers. AND, I don't think I will ever need another pair based off the reviews touting 20+ years of wear. I do recommend half sizes order down: I'm a wide 8 but generally get 8.5 in regular width. The 8 fit perfectly.
Have had two pairs of these slippers. Not the suede ones, though. smooth leather ones. I was very pleased with the first pair, until the soles blew out on the first pair after six months of wear. Thought it was a flaw so ordered a second pair. Sole on one slipper blew out on second pair in much less than six months. Based on quality of materials, I do not recommend these slippers.

I purchased them roughly a month ago, and I have no regrets. While the idea of paying more than $20 for a pair of slippers felt a bit ridiculous to me, I love them. Let me repeat: I LOVE THESE SLIPPERS. They are perfectly warm- not a hot, feet-sweat, kind of warm, but a cozy warm. They're also really a gorgeous shoe. When I get back to the house in the evening and put them back on, I feel happy. When I leave the house in the morning, and have to take them off, I feel sad. Heck, I even feel sad when I have to take them off to get into bed. The shearling lining feels tiny lambs are snuggling your feet. I've accidentally walked out of the house still wearing them three times already because they're just so darn comfy. They fit very true to size. I re-read some of the negative reviews, and I honestly can't understand what they were dissatisfied with. The slippers seem well made, and even if they did fall apart tomorrow, they have a life-time guarantee.
So, in conclusion, if you'd like a perfect, beautiful, warm cozy slipper, buy these.
