Received these slippers today & will be returning for a larger size. I relied on reviews that claimed the slippers ran big. I normally wear size 7.5M, so I ordered down to a 7. My toes were right at the end. Couldn't chance that they would stretch enough to be comfortable, so now I am waiting for an 8 (on backorder). I hope the 8 fits well, because I do like the look of these slippers.
These are the most comfortable, snuggly slippers I've ever owned. It's true that they mold to your feet. I sometimes wear them instead of shoes! They're the first thing I grab when I walk in the house. You can't go wrong!
I've been a loyal customer of LLBean for many years, and I still am a loyal customer, but sadly I have to write my first unsatisfactory review. I was so excited when I saw these slippers and they were lined but not fleece lined. I love the fleece when it's colder though. However, when these came, I had to return them. There is a spot right behind the bow where the slipper and the tongue come together where the seem is awful. It dug into the top of my foot and was cutting into the skin. I don't know if all of them are like that or not, but that was enough for me. There's no way I could have used those slippers. Also, last year I purchased a pair of leather, fleece lined slippers similar to the men's style this year. However, all they have now are the suede ones for ladies and I want some new ones like the ones I have. Don't try to reinvent the wheel. I love my old ones.
I have been ordering and wearing LLBean slippers for years and years. These are by far my favorite slipper. They fit snug right a first but within a very short while they molded to my foot and almost instantly became the best slipper I've ever bought. I am extremely hard on slippers. I don't know why I just am, so when I can get a year out of a pair of slippers I am very happy. I can usually get a good full year out of LLBean slippers and these slippers are going into their 3rd year. I read that some folks get 8, 10, & 20 years out of their slippers, wow, I can only wish. I usually wear the soles out on mine. The bottom of these are now wearing through and so there may soon come a time when I need to order new. I know these are costly but they are well worth the cost if soft, quality comfort is what you are looking for. I HIGHLY recommend these slippers. Thanks LLBean for another great product.
