I puchased this pillow in the "Bright Coins" pattern. They are well made and go well with our brown leather couch. The couch is a dark brown and these pillows (I bought 4!) warm up living room. They are firm and provide great support; I love to cozy up on my couch with a pillow and a good book!
Two of these pillows (bright coins, and blue bright coins) are now part of my continually improving home. One sits on my 32 year old pine rocker, and the other sits whimsically on a well-kept, bright yellow naughahyde sling chair I bought in 1972 and am very sentimental about. The pillows are not what I would use for napping, as they are pretty firm, but I love them for the decorative value. Very nice, L. L. Bean. I hope to collect a few others in different designs and colors.
I purchased 2 of the coin pillows when they were the daily markdown. The quality is very good but the overall comfort level of this pillow is poor. They are flat and very hard and stiff. If you are looking for a decorative pillow, then these are great. If you are looking for a cozy pillow to snuggle against on your sofa then I'd say don't purchase these. I am so glad I did'nt pay full price.
I just purchased two of the Bright Coins wool hooked pillows when they were listed as one of the "daily markdowns" (one red, one blue) and I must say that I was immediately impressed with the quality of these the moment I opened the shipping package. These are of beautiful craftsmanship. Just by the feel of them, it's pretty much a guarantee that these are going to last a long long time!! Not to mention, they look great on my dark walnut leather couch! I Definitely recommend these!
