I purchased the seashell throw pillow. It is well made and the colors are true to the picture in the catalog. It sits on my new bedspread that I also purchased from L.L.Bean. They look so good, together!
I purchased the the Sandpiper pillow and am very pleased with it. The colors are bright - perfect for anyone who decorates with a beach-y motif. Is nice for summer and for all year round. I bought this as a gift for a friend who loves the beach. I would recommend it for personal use or as a gift.
This is a well-constructed pillow and gives a nice decorative touch to the couch. It looks like it will last for years. The back is made of thick twill, the seems look strong and the hooked wool is as hooked wool always is - a bit scratchy and nubby. It gives excellent lower back support but I wouldn't use it to lay my head on, it's not squishy or comfortable in that way. It definitely brightens up the room and is a good accent piece. And the price is half that of other similar pillows on the market, you can't beat that!
