"I'm an old school duck hunter and these shirts are the closest thing to the old viyella shirts we used to wear in the 60s and 70s...warm and light weight without the scratchiness of wool...I wear mine under my waxed cotton hunting jacket...pull a light wool sweater over it and you just added protection for another 20 degrees....I would give this shirt 6 stars if I could!"

"The shirts I bought looked great in the catalog and on the web site. They looked okay when they arrived (drab / washed-out colors), but I thought I would wear them and give them a try. I work in an office... by the time I got home the 1st day the shirt was a mess... wrinkled, sloppy... looked like I had worn it to bed. I guess if you are willing to put a lot of work into this shirt it could work out okay... I just don't think clothing should be that much trouble."

"I purchased this for my son-in-law who is discerning about his shirts. He loves the softness of the fabric which has some wool along with the cotton. It equals the more expensive Vyella type of shirt, looks good and is true to size."

"I purchased one of these in russet over a year ago. I'm glad they're back for this fall. The 80/20 cotton wool blend is soft and comfortable. The houndstooth pattern is a classic and looks great. I recently ordered another one in navy blue."
