Quality and workmanship seems to be good, better than a lot of imports I have seen. I purchased these shoes because of my narrow foot (B). The width generally is accurate except still a little wide in the heel area. Overall a nice shoe and comfortable after a few days break in period.
These shoes run small and narrow. Even a half size larger was still a tight fit.. Although advertised as EE they seem much more narrow. Probably E or D. Add a bulky hiking sock and it's a tight fit.
The lacing system has changed and is not as comfortable and secure. I bought a pair of these a few years ago and quality has definitely dropped a notch or two.
I have two pair. They fit great, and are as comfortable as can be. I had both pairs resoled by ReSole America. They did a great job. Getting ready to resole again and the uppers are still in great shape. Very durable shoe. Don't hesitate, you won't regret the purchase.
