I received these shoes as a Chritmas Gift this past season. After giving several weeks of attempts to breaking in, they broke me in instead. I was suffering from blisters on my left foot. The high top version in the same size and width are perfect. I took these to the local LLBean store and they gave me a credit. Ordered one half size up and waiting on back-order to try again.
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I bought this pair of Gore Tex Mountain Treads because I wore out my first pair. Great fitting sturdy shoes. I wear them constantly on very rough terrain. The quality is excellent. When these wear out, I'll replace them with another identical pair!
I bought these with the intention of golfing in them. I wore them around the house for sn hour or so, and they felt fine. So I took them on a weekend camping trip. I sure wished I'd taken two pairs of shoes, as these caused a blister on my left big toe within about a mile of walking. I put tape on that toe, and it helped. But within a few hours the right big toe was hurting as well. This has never happened in LL Bean shoes, so I assume the cut of this shoe is bad. Will return them.
