I am on my third pair of these Low-Cut mountain treads over the last few years. I wear them almost every day for outdoor activity (Land Surveyor, Hiking, Cutting Wood, etc.). Very good wear compared to other products that I have tried. Only fault would be the seam at the inside heal counter on all of pairs have broken prematurely in my estimation. Otherwise a a very good waterproof & durable low-cut shoe. Be patient with the break-in period required as the new shoe is fairly stiff. Again, my third pair, need I say more!!!
When I first reviewed the specs on this boots I was excited! Gor-Tex lined, Vibram sole and made in Italy. What more can you ask? They even stocked my size: 8W.
I broke the boots in for a couple of months before I gave it a two day 10 hours per day test. For some strange reason, wearing the boots for long period of time put a tremendous amount of pressure on my toes. At the end of two days my toes ached and the toe nails turned black! I called customer service and had it replaced by a pair a full size larger.
The replacement is an enjoyment to wear! I won't have the opportunity to test these boots on a two day ten hour usage until next month, but I am confident it will do just fine.
I recommend that you purchase these boots a half size larger than your standard shoe size. You won't regret it!
Real solid construction, but I needed to replace the insoles and add SuperFeet insoles for better support. Leave plenty of time to break them in as they are a stiff pair of boots with little interior padding. Wish they came with better insoles, even if they charged a few dollars more.

I bought these 4 years ago before going to Gettysburg with my boy scout troop. The first night they got a work out as we set up our tents after a heavy rainstorm on a muddy, wet field. 5 days later I returned home, feet dry, shoes covered in Gettysburg mud baked on. They washed up well and go on every boy scout and camping/hiking trip I go on. I just wish I bought the mids instead of the low ones. But they work fantastic nonetheless. And they are showing very little wear 4+ years after purchasing them!
