ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I bought a pair of these close to ten years ago, before a trip to Arizona. I couldn't have picked anything better! I loved them, and continue to wear them frequently. I was once in the Freeport store, watching a customer consider this item vs. another similar item. I showed him the pair I was wearing and how well they'd worn, as well as how comfortable they were. I strongly encouraged him to buy a pair of these! While I'm still wearing my old pair and the soles are good, the insides are starting to show signs of wear and the outsides look... well, they're beginning to look their age. I was happy to see that they are still in the catalog and ordered a new pair!

I have 2 other LLBean hiking boots that are great, & needed a wide, firm hiking sole, low cut, waterproof hiking/walking shoe. This one is great, and I'm sure will last for years as the others have! One may think they are pricey, until the closet-full of worn out "bargains" are viewed. Multipurpose, & needs minimal break-in. Would rec. for both casual walkers & avid hikers!
