I choose this shoe because it came in Narrow sizing, which I need (8A in a street shoe) and which is almost unheard of in athletic shoes. It fits just as its sizing indicates and is very comfortable. I wish more varied sizing were offered by other shoes manufacturers beyond the typical E and EEE widths most offer.
For my size 13B feet, the heel counter is shaped and sized in a way that allows my relatively narrow heel to slip during flexion. The relatively rigid sole, although a good thing for stability, compounds the slippage problem. I installed Pedag Stop heel grips which reduced slippage somewhat but not enough to prevent deal-killing blisters. Otherwise a well-made, well-designed shoe.
This is the second pair that I have had of these shoes. They are comfortable but the lining in the heel cup tears after a very short period of time making them unwearable. My shoes weren't worn very much and the stitching failed in the liner. I don't recommend that you buy these shoes.
A nice looking shoe but had to return because heel area is too large, even with thicker socks. Shoe length and and balance of fit is fine. Two stars based on poor heel fit.
