I have bought this model of shoe almost every year for five years running. As a professional window cleaner that is mostly outside in damp environments, they hold up fantastically. I have found the Vibram soles very safe and durable, something that occasionally being on roofs imperative. The fact that they are made in Italy is also a plus.
I use about one pair a year, or until I were the bottom off them. They always seem to be the same size. The wearing out of the inside heal cup is almost gone in the last pair, IE the ones with bottom wear. These are my beach pair now.. I due wash them once every 3 months. I killed one pair by drying them in the dryer at two high of heat.. My issue, not the shoes. I use a double tie at the top, to keep my heal down..
I only wear these work boots, or shoes from Brooks due to my need of width..
I love how stiff they are, it make for very safe ladder work..
The double EE works great.. Tops have never show any wear!
