I have a long history of boot disappointment. They lack toe room. They squeeze the foot in the wrong place. They produce blisters after a short walk.
How delightful to find a pair that seem custom made for me. I put then on and forgot that was wearing them, they were so comfortable. I have been wearing then daily to break them in for some fun this spring and summer Great Choice.
Being a loyal bean customer I was a little disaponted with ths shoe working a full day walking on concret floors, by the end of the day my feet were soar. The shoe is a bit heavy.for the $ they coukld be better
I have only done 12 miles on the new boots, one nice day hike, but no "turf toe," nor any other issues. Stepped in every small stream I found, lots of snow, and not a hint of dampness in the boots. Stay tuned; I am really pleased so far.
Even though I haven't worn these too many times, I can already tell that they're going to be good. I wear orthotics, and I need a supportive shoe that fits well. These will work well. I've had the high cut boots for 2-3 years, and I give them lots of wear on difficult terrain and they have held up well. Also, the comfort level is very good.
