Let me start out by saying that I love LLBean coats and jackets, and for me they are mostly true to size or at least the way I like to wear coats and jackets. However, this vest was one size too large for me. I also was ambivalent about the collar on the vest, though someone did write that it softens with washing. It seemed a bit jutting for me, and maybe that's in part due to it not being exactly the right size.
